Since you can see in the bowl with fuel, the float does float. I put the holley back on, and it idles as smooth as glass at 700 rpm. With the motorcraft, it won't idle at all.

They are used in later Holley 2100 and 2110 series carburetors and will NOT work as power valves, even though they can be screwed into the power valve well.
